I love using focus music in Google news.
It helps me focus my news article while still keeping my focus on my topic.
But there’s one thing I hate about it.
When the focus music is on, the search bar will change to a music player icon with a black outline.
It makes my search bar look ugly, and I get annoyed by it.
The other day, I had to scroll through my article and see if it was still there.
That’s when I found the fix.
I added the Google Music Music app to my device to listen to the focus playlist in the news player.
I then changed the focus theme and moved the black outline around.
It worked perfectly.
I’ve since added the focus song to the news page to show it when I want it.
But the problem still remains.
I still have no idea what the focus songs are and what they mean.
There’s no indication of what song they belong to or if they’re from a different artist.
The news feed still looks the same, but the search icon and the news feed have the focus title in the search box.
If I want to listen, I can either click the news item to the right of the focus icon to switch to the search page, or I can click the music player in the music browser.
Google Music works great with the focus menu on the left side of the news article, but not so great with other apps.
When you click the focus item in the News section, the music is muted and a white background appears on the right side of your screen.
If you want to use other apps to listen while reading, you have to open Google News.
Here’s what the default search app looks like on the News page.
I can’t seem to find the “News” search button in the app, so I have to switch back to the main News app and click on the search button.
The search app still looks weird in this screenshot, so you might have to go to Settings > Privacy > Search and Security to see if the app is hiding in your browser.
I’m not sure how I’ve managed to get the focus items in the Google News app to work properly, so there’s no way to control the music on the news site.
The News app is not designed to support music playback and I haven’t been able to test it myself.
But it’s a good start.
If Google News can’t handle music, maybe the next best thing is to install a custom music player.
