Kobe Bryant has a message for the NBA and other players on his mind after an NBA championship and the recent release of the video that captured his alleged beating by teammate James Harden.
In an interview with the New York Times, Bryant, 35, said he’s not going to stop focusing on his team and the players on the floor.
He said, “We’re going to play well this year, we’re going and we’re not going anywhere.”
Bryant said he didn’t know if he would return to the Lakers next season.
He said he is taking time to heal.
Bryants’ comments come after a video surfaced last week showing the then-Los Angeles Lakers star beating his wife, then wife-to-be, in a hotel room on a night when she was with another man.
The video was posted to Instagram.
Brysons attorney said the video is “a completely fabricated and malicious fabrication.”
Brysans wife and two of his children are now out of the country, and he said he will be attending the funeral of his mother this weekend.
